Arabic Type Walks

This initiative aims to preserve, document, and publish Arabic street signs, arabic type, signages, and street typography. Through organizing walks (expeditions) driven by curiosity and a shared interest of Arab cultures. The project spans between different countries including Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine, and Morocco.

Moe Elhossieny

Moe is a designer, researcher, and a writer. Graduated with a BA from Cairo, and an MA from CSM, London. Moe’s practice is one that is research based and investigative.
